From nothing to everything! – She did it all alone!
Life is never meant to be small. We all want it to be big.
Over the time, we all might have read that we should think and dream big, work for the things we love, not just for the sake of money. But, most of the time do we seriously give a thought to it? Probably we should and this is what Ms Neetu Singh, Director and Founder of Paramount and KD campus suggests.
“My life has been full of problems, but problems have made me what I am today.”- Ms Neetu Singh.
Q. Tell us your life story?
I came to Delhi empty handed years back. With barely anything in my pocket, I started with a night shift job at Wipro. I realized that I work for more than 14-15 hours a day and that too for somebody else’s business, then why not should I work for my own? I left my job, looked for tuitions, then worked towards opening up of my own coaching center. I worked not just to earn money, but to deliver quality. Life has been a roller coaster ride for me, alone in the place like Delhi, without being bold and assertive I could have never been able to face the challenges. When I entered the Ssc market through paramount, the competition was already at its peak, yet, it was my experience and quality that made me different in the field. From paramount to KD campus, it is the love of my students for me and the hard work done that made me successful.
Q. What is your biggest achievement up till now?
Nothing, you should always dream big. Hence, if I adhere to this fact then I have achieved nothing up till now. Every time I achieve something, I have so much to work for, that the achievement doesn’t seem to be that big.
Q. What is your philosophy of life?
Work hard. Work with your soul. I have everything in my life to enjoy, yet, I feel the only thing that satisfies me is the quality of work. The more I earn, the more I feel this is my responsibility to deliver better.
Q. What has been your motivation and what made you think it is important?
I believe I am a perfectionist. If the work is even close to perfect, my soul never satisfies. To deliver my best is the only thing on my mind and that is what made me reach here.
Q. What has been your biggest learning?
First of all, be good at your paperwork.
Second, never do business with your partner just as a token of love. You should never trust anyone in this world blindly. Even if you love somebody, do all the materialistic things possible in the world, but never share your hard work blindly.
Q. Whom would you like to dedicate your success to?
My mother, because when my father died, I was just three years old and we were 6 sisters and 1 brother. If my mother wanted, she could have educated only her son, because financially it was hard to provide for the education of 8 children that too in an English medium school. The strong basic foundation which she gave me at such a crucial point, has always been my stepping stone of success.
One thing that you would like to say to the youth.
Dream big. I am not saying that you leave everything and dream big. First of all do something that makes you independent and self-sustainable. Once you achieve this, next think of something that is difficult to achieve. Work and ask for the moon, you will be happy even if you get the stars. The young generation of ours is overflowing with new ideas, but, they need to work on those ideas to make them a reality rather than just an imagination. Also, make sure you dream of something that is realistic. Put your soul into your work, make it perfect, money will follow.
Money is a good servant, not a good master.
The number of problems she faced while establishing this venture of hers is immense and so are her learnings. Also, she wanted to make it work and hence, she did. She never doubted her capabilities, which also marks the basic foundation of LAW OF ATTRACTION. She believed that she would get whatever she wants, and made all her dreams come true by constantly attracting her vision for life. Dream big, work hard and maybe like her you could one day become an inspiration to many.
